SHENEE BULLENBONG HONEY
|
|
A western trained sporting mare with jumping ability of over a metre (even at the age of 18), Honey represented at state level pony club and Master’s games and was still being shown successfully in led and ridden classes after two foals. She is very smart and quick on her feet, has excellent cattle sense and is very pretty in both her movement and looks. She has an excellent palomino coat all summer with good bone and hooves that never need shoes.
She has highly sought after, top ASH bloodlines, including foundation sire Sage King and Scrumlo Uranium, providing two crosses of Radium though her champion sire, Bullenbong Wiriki. She produced several unregistered buckskin foals prior to an outstanding young stallion, Lindenlee Ace in 2005 and her 2004 chestnut filly, Lindenlee Poppy, who is set to become a top polocrosse horse in Queensland, was purchased sight-unseen at just 6 months old, based only on Honey's bloodlines.
Honey had foal a on 6 August by Roscommon Anzac, a 15.1hh bay stallion by well-performed performance sire, Condamine Romano (who is by the great Warrenbri Romeo). He has achieved Champion in led and ridden classes and is now successfully competing as a campdrafter, recently named SCA Horse of the Year. An outstanding buckskin filly at long last, this one will be retained by the stud with Honey due to retire soon. See her pictures on the Our foals page.
Honey is again in foal, despite being in her mid-20s, this time by outstanding son of Lyndsay, Stonebrook Finno, for another foal we will retain regardless of colour or gender. She is due mid-November. |
