Kakadu is a tall and graceful mare bred to play polo and is still sound and being ridden today, in her twenties. She has the ideal quiet temperament and intelligence seen in the best stock horses like her famous grandsire (and ASH foundation sire), Sage King. She is very friendly, easy to handle in every way and is completely bombproof—the sort of horse anyone can ride and children can climb on without a worry. She has played babysitter to all our foals and recently raised an orphaned arab foal. Her full sister, Fernloff Margot, recently won a top youth polocrosse award in Victoria and we expect her two most recent foals to do something similar.
Kakadu produced an outstanding chestnut colt by our former resident stallion Lindenlee Ace on 27 August 2009. We are only planning to keep a filly from this outstanding dam line, so contact us if you'd like more information on Lindenlee Uluru (Roo) or pictures before this guy is officially up for sale.
